Free NSF Sponsored Summer Workshop for Middle and High School Students

Dear parents and students,

If you're a middle school or high school student, you may be interested in a free one-week summer workshop. The workshop will teach the kids how to use the Alice programming environment to create interactive 3D animations. The Alice system was developed by Professor Randy Pausch at Carnegie-Mellon University, and is currently in use at literally hundreds of schools across the country as an easy introduction to computer programming.

Middle school and high school students can enroll for free, but space is very limited and will be first-come, first-serve.

To apply, please visit the web page at http://www.cse.scu.edu/ITEST/students, download and fill out an application form, and get it submitted as soon as possible.

Learn and have fun!
