Requirements:Students should:
· Have studied Chinese for more than 2 years;
· Be in 3rd Grade or higher in regular English school;
· Be capable of listening, reading, writing, and speaking Chinese;
· Have learned at least 300 Chinese characters
· Be able to use the keyboard properly;
· Have a Computer with IME (Microsoft Input Method Editor) and Microphone.

2008 中华文化知识竞赛成绩公布的相关说明

1 美国中文学校系统收到有效答卷共 1300+人. 219 人达到"优秀"级别，即208分以上（总分260 的80% ）， 占 16.8%; 311 人达到"合格"级别，即156分以上（总分260 的60% ）， 占23.9%两类合计，共达到40.7%

2 优秀级别将颁发优秀证书，并且邀请参加中国寻根之旅的免费夏令营；"合格"级别将颁发合格证书。据估计，2008年的夏令营计划恐怕难以赶上了。建议各校在通知获奖学生的同时，补充说明：如果2008年能赶上最好，不然，准备2009年再参加。
